The MegaWizard Portal extension to the MegaWizard Plug-In Manager is similar to the list of plug-ins installed on your computer however, the MegaCore functions in the IP Megastore folder are located on dedicated Altera servers and, to use any of these MegaCore functions, you must first download and install them. This feature provides access to the most up-to-date versions of the MegaCore functions at the IP MegaStore site. You can select an available MegaCore function in the list, obtain information about the selected MegaCore function, register with the Altera IP MegaStore site, download the MegaCore function, install it on your computer, and launch the corresponding MegaWizard plug-in (if provided) all from within the QuartusВ II software.
